Rebuilding Indigenous Communities
We donate $1 from every purchase diretly to the Boruca Tribe in Costa Rica. This supports their long-term vision to build a community kitchen, create visitor cabinas, and establish a school grounded in ancestral knowledge. Our hope is to grow our impact over time, eventually funding all of their projects and contributing to future land back efforts.
About the Founders
We're Alyna and Elliot Rivera, and we used to dread mornings. We'd wake up feeling super groggy and unmotivated, so naturally, we would drink coffee. The only problem is we'd get jittery and crash by 3pm. Then we discovered cacao! It helped us feel motivated and lit up again. For years we’d been drawn to indigenous ceremonies and the wisdom traditions behind them, and when we met the Boruca people of Costa Rica, something clicked. We vowed to create a brand that gave back. From our kitchen to yours, we hope this cacao lights you up the way it supports us.
